In October 2006 the Society auditioned
for a new conductor after Paul McLaughlin, the conductor for the
past three seasons, had found glittering new pastures too far away
to maintain contact with CCS.
By a unanimous vote Katie Thomas was offered
the position and has already begun to impress with her vivacity,
musicality and determination to get results.
